At Urbanology Studio, we design and execute modern, elegant and luxurious spaces for our clients. One of our latest projects that we recently completed is a full villa renovation of a project – that included both interiors and landscape. Located in one of the most prestigious addresses in Dubai – Aseel, Arabian Ranches by Emaar, this villa with a golf course view was completely transformed into a vision of elegance, modern living and practicality, as per the client’s requirement.

As part of this project, we increased the built up area in the living room, master bedroom & dining area. The extended areas are designed to blur the lines between the indoors & outdoors. All bathrooms were redesigned and renovated with modern fixtures, high quality finishes creating uniqueness to each space. We created a stunning walk in wardrobe that gave the client ample space they needed. A high end integrated kitchen with luxurious finishes. Re-tiling for the whole villa aligned with the vision.

Major challenges faced while designing this space were; low ceilings, a tight staircase, limited landscaping areas and lack of transitional areas.

The landscape was an interesting challenge. The primary purpose of the space was to entertain guests and exude opulence, but the client also needed a swimming pool in that limited space. For the purpose of entertainment – a barbecue pit, sunken amphitheater style seating with a firepit and a lush landscape dotted with palm trees & exotic plants was created. When not in use, the pool can be covered using a remote controlled deck which was designed seamlessly so it fits in with the existing decking & the pool completely becomes invisible. The deck technology was imported, a 600kg engineered slab which can handle up to 50 people – dancing. A black stone water feature wall completes this landscape with serenity & tranquility.

The entire villa is meticulously designed and detailed to achieve harmony between luxury and user experience. Seamless flow of spaces from one to another creates an enriching experience both for the guests and the home-owners.
